Late at night I went outside
No one to see, No one that eyed
It were as if
The noise had died
And someplace deep inside
I softly cried

With Darkness on my side
Shackles of constraint untied
Me and my thoughts at last, allied

My vision became weaker
Less and less were I to see
Yet my horizon came to be

It showed me the way
What I were to do this day
As the weight came to fade away

Piece of mind, Piece of heart
All this time were set apart
Listened to all but myself

Time be finally here
To disappear
And become what I
In truth endear
