Heartbreaking. The first part reminded me of little boy blue. It was one of my favorite parts of the poem is a child! I don't know why but I could just see a little boy snoozing underneath the edge of the haystack, with the weight if it warming his body in the sun! So, the turn surprised me. I like your love poems :) because they're so believable!!! But the sad poems are equally believable and always make me pause for a moment to wonder if you're really in mourning.
