You Add Value Despite Your Imperfections

Look at yourself, you ain't having Kylie Jenner’s full lips, neither do you have Angelina Jolie’s entrancing eyes.

You cannot fill out a dress like the way Beyoncé can, nor wear a crop top without feeling insecure about your excess body fat. Whenever you think about it, you conclude that you don’t have any features that seem to fall under the socially accepted list of appreciated attributes, which of course, seems to be a constantly growing checklist.

Truthfully, our generation has reviewed beauty measures by using a more distinct catalogue of adjectives into a more visual terminologies. You are now considered “coke bottle” and beautiful once you possess a slim waist between your luscious chest and backside or considered cute when you cut off your hair into a rather more short pixie cut as long as you have the fragile bone structure to compliment it.

Considering all these, you don't quite fit in under the shade of beautiful, and rather than me elaborating the qualities of what it means to be considered good looking any further, I'll be straight with you; you are not beautiful. But you are alluring. To edit the definition of ‘drop dead gorgeous’ to make you feel happy about your crooked nose and round chin would not be an act of kindness or generosity to you.

It would instead be an injustice to your amazing character that does nothing but feed into the believe that you must be pretty and cute to be of value.

All in all, always remember you're human, and not a throw pillow. You add value as a complex and imperfect human being.
