TO DO
The list is long
guilt grips it
coldly and firmly
barely visible to
the naked eye
Some entries
have seen years
others are simple
afterthoughts
worn and torn
on corners
Bent and rusted
like a metal
scrapyard
scratching
at your shins
and ankles
tripping you up
As you fall down
battered and bruised
embarrassed and ashamed
of your latent inaction
a cover without pages
pages without lines
lines without words

Seems like the to-do list is always long and never ends...it goes along with the "round to it" token.
I've had some on the list for almost 20 years and still haven't been able to cross them off @cecicastor!
