What does it mean when you cannot stop thinking about someone?

When every breath is taken for her
at the end of every touch
you want to feel her skin
at the end of every night
you want to hear her voice

You build her up in your mind
knowing she can meet all expectations
by simply being herself she is all that you want
more importantly all that you need

Each time you look at her
she is different
more beautiful than you remembered
even though that last stolen glance
was a second ago

Each day the sun reminds you of her
as night falls the moon assumes the role

Unable to be covered by clouds
forever resisting the rain to suggest tears
your thoughts remain with you
even though she has gone

So you sit alone
gazing into the night
knowing for every star that shines
you think of her twice

When you close your eyes
you see her more often
more vividly
memories of times you
laughed
teased
smiled

For why frown on a shortened summer
when the future is fated?

Many summers
many suns
and many moons
still lay ahead

All of which will forever
remind you of her
