In the moment
I am frozen
a still frame
replaying the movie
that was our life
Laughter
fire
red homemade wine
handmade poems
just for you
You said
you loved them
they were precious
but you left them here
when you drove away
What is closer
to the truth
homemade wine and words
or thick wallets
that can buy wishes
But if you keep
moving too fast
you miss the words
bursting with love
for you
Even after all
these years
the words remain
you only need to
open the book
and I'll come back to you
