Hieroglyphic Goals ( 100 Days of Poetry ) { Day #86 }
seem to sit waiting,
on winds & wings to grow strong.
Sometimes looking back,
we see the achieved,
and it's hard to believe
that we wrote that.
for to get there, where,
the destination must be clear.
On the road trip a few detours,
places to explore for a wondering soul.
with the eye on the destination.
Is that what the heart desires?
Nothing set in stone
that cannot be shattered.
hieroglyphs on the soul,
carved deep
before the earthly birth,
bringing flaming pains,
if not attended to
with endless pursuit.
Leave the marks on the walls,
live eternally through them.
