Waiting
I played by the rule
Acted the fool
Did just as the was said by the book
But here I am avoiding the mirror's look

You promised, and I believed
I guess that was the beginning of my downfall
I never knew it was part of your creed
Not to be there when I call
Well I've learnt that rules should be broken
And though I lie here, broken
I am a little wiser
I mean, you made me a writer
But I wait for your return
Not so there would be a rerun
Instead I wait for your payback
I wait to instill karma's mark
This is my first poem, hope I tried.

Yeah, you did. Good job
This is very good. And I actually relate with this. Everyone had probably felt like this at one point or another.
