[Original Lyric/Poem/Whatever]: Burning Fear

I'm not the one to write lyrics or poetry or whatever you classify this. I'm a musician, but I can't write any lyrics. But as I was about to switch off for the night, the following came to my head... This could be a death metal song or something. I can already hear it as an old Opeth song in my head

Darkness surrounding me, there's blood on my hands
I haven't thought this through, but I'm in the foreign lands
What if I can't go on and this feeling grows on me?
The people that I've turned to dust, haven't really hurt me

With this dark and burning fear...

And in the end, there is nothing but blood and tears...

The tears are coming and I am ignoring all these mindless thoughts occuring to me...
The masks are falling, my heartbeat is growing and you have no place to be...
You can't exist, away from me, and the pain won't set you free...
Abide the calling, you should be falling, and this is no hyperbole...

Well, this not even a "try"... Wrote this in like 10 minutes... Just came to me out of nowhere... Oh dear, I guess I won't sleep tonight. Perhaps I'll make it my first full song that's not instrumental! Good night Steemit!
