Let Grace Speak for Nigerian Youths
I dedicate this to fellow Nigerians looking upto God to survive in the country (Especially the unemployed Nigerian youths) and to the world at large.
When grace speaks laws become irrelevant
Merit useless, connections needless
Problems history and protocol suspended
But all we do is keep on going wrong
How mаnу mоrе уеаrѕ оf sorrows will соmе?
How mаnу mоrе wаrѕ will we fight?
On streets crawl surviving frail feet
Blood soaked streets, fire wrecked homes
Economy recession, High-Profile Corruption Cases, TSA,
Crude oil- our joy, Our missing budget, Unemployment
Innocent lives ready to steal
When grace speaks, revolution sets in
When grace speak god fatherism no more
When grace speak youths becomes the leaders
And we have no more Tinubu’s and the likes
Controlling government underneath
And then problems gets suspended
sorrow no more
We pray thee for a revolution
A wind of change for youths to take charge
Problems history and old leaders protocol becomes suspended
Shortnote:
So much on my mind, my heart melted, this is the basic reason why I decided to put this down on paper. And to all Nigeria leaders and oversea who might be opportuned to read this post and got offended mere reading this post, I am sorry but the truth needs to be said in form of a poem.
God Bless Nigeria
You caught me by surprise.
I am an old man, so when I speak out, I do not fear, for there is little they can steal from me. When I see someone with most of life lying ahead, daring to speak against those in power, it fills my heart with admiration for them.
It is a sad fact that what you see in your country, it is happening because it is happening in all the world. Globalism and their depopulation plan means that people no longer matter to those at the top - and somehow we must find a way to show them that we do matter and that we can and will stop them. Only six nations are fighting them: Russia, USA and the 4 Visgrad countries. Of course, Trump sticks out the most because he is a strong and flamboyant personality, but though I am not American, I see him as the example for all of us. If he, one lone man, can fight the elite cabal and other monstrous people, then so can we all.
The so-called elite cabal are only powerful for as long as we allow them the power over us. Poets have fought alongside freedom fighters (Lord Byron did, a lovely poet and a man with the heart of a warrior, when the Greeks fought the Ottoman Empire), so you are in good company. Be brave, allow your heart to speak for your people, but do not be foolish, take care. Each brave heart they strike down, the poorer all of us are.
@arthur.grafo I will consider your words as the series two of this post, infact, you have given me a clue to think outside the box taking a look on happenings in some other parts of the world like the Russia, USA you made mention of. Infact, the world needs a revolution because all of this appears like the ends of time.
Keepit up
Brotherly, Naija go better.

Well written poem, I just wished we Nigerian youth can take actions about all the crooked ways in which the affairs of our country is being run by same sets of bad eggs and not just by writing about it. Thanks for sharing.
