Love (or something like it)
LOVE
(or something like it)
Did you find what you were looking for while you were gone and did you find your soul?
Our fingers spent the evening exploring the subtle curves of each other’s body.
Where did you go when you left and did you enjoy the time you spent?
We spent the morning enveloped in the comfort of each other’s arms and voice.
Did you miss me while you were gone and why have you returned?
We spent the afternoon looking for words or some sort of mutual bond.
What is your name again and who is it you came to find?
“Come hold me.” She says I feel like home or possibly a replacement for something lost in the relative, not so distant past so, we set the night on fire in memoriam of the evening last
