Nigerian Dream Part 2
symmetrical shapes of colors,
an emblem of wealth, peace and unity.
A trio of Green, White and Green.
in its magnanimous beauty,
is a waving flag.
one nation, one people under God.
heard a song once with a beautiful melody
🎼the land is green
yet full of leechers reaping from seeds they have not planted.
Economy grim reapers.
a green land camouflaged as a desert.
hunger and thirst where there is abundant.
infinite spiral red tapes to keep us from the truth.
the Nigerian dream almost does not exist.
packaged lies to keep us all in greed.
political agenda for pocket greed.
ambitious and covetousness people
controlling and pushing us,
forcing pills on us to keep us numbed and dumbed down.
the Nigerian dream we hoped for is a living nightmare.
an uprising is coming
like the legend of the phoenix
a revolution is imminent.
an healing rain that would purge the land.
time to wake up from this nightmare is near.
I see a future where the Nigerian dream is a reality.
I believe in Nigeria.
it is time to light the candle of hope and spread it across
Let us make Nigeria green again
