The mind is open but the heart is shut
To all that is called love
Nobody got me I said
The treasured valentine gifts
The lovely evening walks
Nobody did

Nobody ever gave
The long midnight kisses
And endless conversations
Nobody did

Let alone to the mind
Of a sacred lonely heart
Nobody neared the gates or even had a chance
Nobody, but you.
