Arboreal collapse

Stretched in the stippling light
of a copse sewn with secrecy,
I have hidden a minatory forest
with a wink of imploding sight.

To dwell on the knobbly remains,
green transmitters emboldened,
is to grasp the paws of a goblin
to receive its deeds compressed.

In the whorls of spiraling hands
are written the thicket's delays:
Through taproots made transfers
to scribe an arboreal glaze.

Laminant of the quiet hours,
Glimpsed, the humblest shine—
Of morning kissed by dewdrops,
Of evening fierce, divine.

Attractive, yet ominous. "Minatory"; I like that word. Like all your poems, this one challenges not only our knowledge of the language, but also our interpretation skills. A perfunctory reading, like this emboldened forest, only provides glimpses of the mixed feelings produced by being enraptured by beauty divine, but also fierce.

The barriers build by the taproots sending the warning messages, and yet the apparent impenetrability is always challenged by the tiniest, craziest dewdrops that kiss and join evening and morning in an ever present state of collapsing luminescence.

When one is a lover of poetry, the verse comes out only while it is inspired by life and everything that surrounds us with each word that comes out of its mouth will be inspiring for those around you. Poetry can be complicated when interpreted by a master of poetry, his words are deeper in the poetic sense, but if he pays attention he will understand its meaning and you already have it.

Thanks, @bidbots. Very encouraging. Trying to keep the connection with life/nature and all that is beautiful in it. Only way to avoid a collapse in this suffocating world.

I love the feel of this otherworld wizardry like storytelling, as I do your gift of making words come to life. Thank you @d-pend. I curated you here: https://steemit.com/curation/@rensoul17/speak-to-me-in-poetry-a-steemit-curation

When we feel that we are the target of hostile glances, we create a shell that defends our "I". We try to walk with a smile hidden behind the secrets of the day. On the other hand, we drown the demons in silence on very long nights.

You poem transmits the feeling of being there, where you can see that majestic tree that probably was growing many years but now on the ground and covered with moos. As everything in the nature it comes and goes...

  • @d-pend beautiful mind impregnating lines, I read the poem looking at the images and it is relaxing. The images give you a lot of peace and quiet in a charming forest. Nice poetry, my friend. Congratulations and have a beautiful day.
