A stroll in the snow

A new pace awaken,
A newly sought grail.
A spring in my step to
Reclaim what was taken
.
By the scourge, unawareness:
By the folly of youth.
By the complacence of age,
By osmosis uncouth.
.
Step upon step on sweet steep-rising knoll
Homebound towards the heavens inclined
My raised eyes behold a skyward shoal.
.
Amethyst water, air's intangible gems
A mirage of the myst through periosteum limbs.
.
A dusting, ice dew with its scintillous sheen
That reflects life's pristinity abraded between
Friction, fissures, and conflict: hypocritical stone
That encapsulates vigor— that renders me lone.
.
In the dirt and the snow
And the indigo sky: I see hope
and new life, and arise to comply.

Thank you. So simple and full of life. Just what I needed, a breath of fresh crisp air. When I lived in the Midwest I knew Spring was near when the snow begins to melt. Nothing can match that smell. In Korea the sign of Spring is dust. I will send you a photo reply of a Korean mountain. Looks the same just the air is different.
