CANDLELIGHT

Now,the world needs light
Can you see the sun?
Its glory is dimming
It's not even dusk yet
But the dawn is fast approaching.

Look up at the skies,
The bleak moon and stars envelope it
Darkness is overcoming...
The blue sky is now ashen and grey.

Let your candles shine
The world needs your candlelight
Right at this perilous moment
Lift it up high!
Hang it in the clouds
For the world needs your light most now.

Let the blind see the reflections of your candlelight
Through the thick layers of their faded sight
Let them smell the glorious brightness.

Shine your candlelight,
Let the cripple find their path
Through the thick layers of thorns and bushes
Let them inhale the marvellous scent of your candlelight.

It is the feast of light,
Lift your candlelight to the dark skies
Let them form the archery like the orions
Let your candlelight shine bright
Far deep into the horizons
For the world needs you now.
