Slow Haste (POETRY)

With slow haste runs the year
For now it is here but how it clears

In slow haste comes the dawn
This moment night, few later morn

On slow haste thrives the day
First it is bright, then it glows away

By slow haste lives the hour
In live-sapping seconds, it is stone in mire

With slow haste ebbs transient life
Brought forth in pain, torn down in strife.
