Shore Fisherman [Original poem - 100 Days poetry challenge (Day #7)]

in #poetry6 years ago

Shore Fisherman

Fisherman on foot who walks with enthusiasm to the bay of the sea,
A flock of birds screaming follows your trail,
Lead, nylon and hooks is your crown, cold and empty is your kingdom,
The rock is your throne in the iridescence of the essence.

Under the sword of the sun, your silhouette faces oxidation
Wrinkles and calluses are his marks of war,
Armed with courage, you throw the thread of life praying for destiny,
Your eyes pierce the temple of the sea.

The fish are sacrificed to the constancy of the Lord,
The sea of mourning cries incessantly.
The impetus of the wave breaks the roadstead,
A breath of the wind raises the haze,
Thunder the bay, close the sale.
This is the response of the sea.

The sea tells you its sorrows and glories and singyou beautiful love songs, @corderosiete. Very good!

Thank you. Greetings.

Wrinkles and calluses are the marks of war.
You never seize to amaze me. Keep doing what you do

Wow, fishing beautifully presented. You are a very good poet ny friend.

Grateful for your words friend.

I tend to gravitate towards your fisherman poems, @corderosiete, not that I don't enjoy your pieces on the river and their inhabitants or your fretted guitar songstress, but there is something about the voice that you give the sea that always makes me want to dip my feet into the shallows - calm or storm.

Thanks @ carmalaim7, the sea falls in love caressing its sand.
