Black hats/Original poem [100 Days poetry challenge (Day 64)]
a dark road that I do not want to tread,
where men in black hats
are responsible for guiding
to the wandering shadows
with a coin under the tongue.
They look for the primary sustenance
on a sterile road
scorched by fire,
where only ashes remain
of the splendid forest of yesterday.
They are hours of waiting in hell
so that the crumbs of bread are burned at home.
Like a cycle of curses,
the time will be the same tomorrow.

Despite the fatalistic tone of this poem, it is on point. WOW. It is not often that I resteem the works of people, but i had to resteem this one. I don't even know where to begin. All I can do is just appreciate these wonderful words.
Damn, I wish i had written it.
Thank you nicholas83 friend, your words inspire me to keep improving.
This is good stuff bro. I feel it.
Thankful for your comment @dmilliz. We continue on the road,
Profundo poema que presenta oquedades transitadas con padecimiento. La voz lírica refleja un tono angustioso por la percepción del espiral del tiempo. Buen trabajo con las palabras.
Gracias hermana. Así es.
Hmmm... Men in Black?
Beautiful poetry, @corderosiete amigo
