A Truly Honest Evolution In Self Morality
Some people have a fear
With Religion they steer
Using it to navigate the way
Without it they're led astray
Religion is the moral compass
This their mind can encompass
From a book they see the good
Without which is misunderstood
They don't see how they could know
Right from Wrong the priestly show
If a book or priest leads the way
They no longer feel the dismay
Not braving the unknown themselves
Wisdom of the all taken from shelves
Words written by man show the all
Man has defined the secret and the fall
No longer seeing language as a tool
Never knowing if they're made the fool
Trust in other men to know more than they
Could it be they have simply become prey
Natural Law exists without a book
To those who are brave and look
Compassion does not exist by demand
It only comes when you choose to stand
Forcing others to give a meal
Is not compassion or a deal
If no choice was made for the act
It was not free will that is a fact
Look deep and you will find
No need for religion to be kind
Morality is a choice you must learn
Kindness not a religious earn
