Poem: I LOVE ME

They say I'm fat and ugly
Like a pig, or a hippo
Am I despaired? Not in the least!
Because I Love Me

My skin is black, and so are my eyes
My hair is short and spongy
The looks I attract are not those of admiration
But I Love Me!

It's easy to lose your self-confidence
If you pay much attention to people's opinion of you
Love yourself, or no one else will
Stand tall; keep your head always high
Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent.

Ensure always to remember this:
You are beautiful in your uniqueness
There's a difference that only you can make
I believe this, and that's why I LOVE ME!
