THE MORNING SUN
When I first saw you in the morning, I marvelled;
I marvelled, for you were the morning sun.
You are intense, bright and dazzling;
Yet warm, affectionately tender to all gazers.
I thought you were French but realised you were just fresh.
Fresh like fish in water; if cooked with French fries no one would resist.
Completely unaware of the journey we had ahead of us;
But in your presence any Johnny will take any journey.
Your light shows us the way, you alone are the way of truth.
You are the morning star!
