What if you woke up one day
and every piece of me
was everything to you
as if tears had never fallen
and fearful days never happened?

What if you fell asleep right now,
waking up to the sound of me
telling you I missed you
while you were sleeping?

What if you slept alone
and woke up to the sound
of nothingness?

What if you realized
what you hoped to be
reality was just a dream?

Would you make it happen
or would you let it slip?
