"Onwards" SSPC 82

source
A fire burns within
From the alters of zeal
Red as hot coal
Onwards to the goal
Like an injured eagle
Strutting through the skies
To the tone of tired wings
Cajoling, oblivious of pain
The world is a two way traffic
Of the comers
And the goers
Does who do
And them that watch
Oblivious to the pain
In the wing
I soar high

Oh, yeah! Regards, my friend!
Thanks my friend
Greetings brother poet. With this, the resolution of the task assigned by @ d-pend.
"Adelante" talks to me about the struggle to stay firm in the established objectives. It moves against, from the very image of the poem.
Talk about injuries, tiredness, the approach of a storm. The lyrical voice is identified with the symbolism of the eagle. It raises that before the present threats, it solves the last one and it flies even higher so that the winds that blow do not drag it.
I felt that the poem spoke to me of the exhaustion and internal pressure of daily creation. Of struggle for the productive product despite the adversities that may be happening and the resolution at the moment of giving the best of itself, even if it does not feel optimal.
Strength, poet! Ahead!
Wow...thanks for this. Great analysis.
