Like a Cactus
Dazzling with flippant petals
Incensed in curly colours
           Beaming like glow worm
           She wags her tail

Flaunting giant strides
Striking like a morning star
Dragging the eye to its moves
Her moan, she meander with mien
                      Oozing in startled adornment

Reverting amorously
Her skin, spring water
           Piercing the mind in admiration
                      For her beaming, black beauty.

                                 Her pageantry pespires
Charming eyes like the goddess of the sea
           Her lips like glaciers
With a magic smile
A jolly jewel juicy and jotting
Scenting the air with beauty like falling dew

Like the galaxy of stars she waned
           She, the emblem of Africa.

Like the morning Star she would arise.

               Her, the glow of Africa.

Great word play and deep meaning!

A wonderful piece, thumbs-up @blessedben!

Thanks man.
Deeply appreciated!

Charming poem, @blessedben. There is a command of the suggestive language that enlightens the reader and keeps him attentive to what will result from all that beautiful description that you weave from the very beginning. Good job!

a seamless interweaving of the descriptive and the sensual to create a glow, the push and pull both the beauty and struggle. A continental identity.

Thank you for sharing, @blessedben.

Whoah, you sum up perfectly my poem in your little analysis.
Thank you @camalain7 for caring to come by.
Am grateful
