Hello Steemit!

She had a million wishes
In the knots of her tangled stitches
Besides her lay a pot she called Luck
To help her make a little buck.

Odd jobs called her across the alley
With the rich who would not dilly dally
Bread was offered with a bowl of vowels
And a string of words to sing while mending towels.

Steady but slow she mastered the pen
Yarns and yarns she would spin in her den
“Oye ragged writer” they called her
Only now she wore patch less dresses wrapped in fur.

This is really an amazing piece. Not like the usual catalog of rhyming mumbo-jumbo I usually see on the poetry tag
