The Crossroad - II

At the crossroad, self meets the selfish...
kneels down, to beg, tells a wish..."let me be me !".

a day on this end, a day on the other...
deciding for long, a way beyond the tether, to let it be free.

a thing it has , a thing it needs...
a dream it has , to seed the need...
a blind man's head-on, to things he can't see...
so are the needs , the dreams and the wish to be me.

tugging the hemispeheres...
a part is with you, but both are mine...
one is dazed, but both distortedly inclined.

The self faces the blows, in a rocking boat...
as it finds itself, on the crossroad.
