Inactivity's Rewards

Only now I’ve stopped to think,

And churned and mixed a few honest thoughts,

Brought forward by sheer inactivity,

What was suppressed by mere assumption,

And ignored with contented ignorance,

Now strikes me down in sudden fear,

And spurs me on with simple realization,

That my road has not been paved yet.
