Christmas struts in with fanfare,
With buoy we cluster for the funfair,
In happiness we revel of the season,
Jesus was born and that is the reason.
His birth with mirth we celebrate,
The tenets He bequeaths we sought to articulate,
"Give, show love and share with the needy we must eventuate,
The spirit of the merriment we need to replicate.
Happy christmas to all and sundry,
In moderation and mirth devoid of ribaldry,
His ethos we must strive to sustain,
The reason for the season--the drive to entertain.
