POETRY/ LAZY NIGERIAN YOUTHS THEY SAY WE ARE

Hustle and bustle,
Beads of sweat and the exhaustion,
On a quotidian basis we go the circle,
Rhythmic is the vicious rind,
Lazy we are pigeonholed,
As we exhaust our mental and physical compositions.

If these pictures reflect indolence,
Let me be without remorse,
They fleece us with limited time,
While we bear the brunt of their schizophrenic decisions.
If this montage is symptomatic of being a loafer,
I am congenitally lazy with brittle bones.

Brewing of anger, gestation of segue,
We await the time, grovelling for votes
To truly show that we are lazy
Clear is the fog, pristine is our gullible haziness.
