My Original Bengali Poem - ধান শালিকের গাঁ
একদিন ধান শালিকের গাঁয়ে নবান্ন উৎসব
গাঁয়ের মেয়েদের শালীন আনন্দ উদযাপন
মন মাতিয়ে দেওয়া পিঠে পুলির স্বর্গীয় সুবাস
পৃথিবীটা হঠাৎ করে ধরা দেয় হয়ে সঞ্জীবন।
শীতের হিম হাওয়ায় মিশে ধোঁয়া করে উল্লাস
আমি আজকে উদ্যমে অন্তহীন এক সুবিশাল
সরলতায় হার মেনে যাচ্ছে পার্কস্ট্রিটের জৌলুস
গাঁয়ের লোকের নেই কোনো বিষাক্ত সমকাল।
মনে পড়ে কত স্মৃতি সেই বৃষ্টির আগমন
কৃষকের খাবার পৌঁছে দিতে হাজির জমিতে
থালে মাখা গুড় ভাত সঙ্গে পড়ন্ত কয়েক ফোঁটা
সেই দিন কি অসাধারণ মিশে আছে খুব আমাতে।
প্রত্যেক দিন সূর্যের আলোয় আমার ইচ্ছেরা জাগে
মেকি খোলস ছেড়ে বেরিয়ে এলাম এই পূর্ব রাগে।
