Comedy = Poetry + Nurses

Good morning / evening Steemit! I will be traveling all day for the Minnesota Steemit meetup so I am posting today far earlier than I usually do. My 20 hours of travel time is not going to stop from me from my 100 day commitment! :)

For today, I wrote a short poem about love and what makes us feel at home, about what home really is. I have been with my girlfriend Michelle for seven months and she has made me feel more safe, secure, and comfortable than any place ever has. This poem is about that idea and dedicated to her.

WHERE

Most would say who.
Can a person be a place?
Do we nest in a bed?
In another's mind?
Or in our own...

Can we make a person our place?
Ask someone in love.

I also included a video from my time training with the Navy. At the end of the year, each branch would perform a comedy routine or make a spoof video. This video was the top one for years :)
