Collage Poem

Hello All

Proud to show yall the opening piece to a collection of work I am submitting to Uhlanga Publishers end of the month:

Now, darlings, perhaps a closer look:

I think perhaps my favorite part is the little birdie just chilling on my shoulder.

I also quite enjoy how it takes a while for you to see that the black-ish mes over the face (mine) is a skull:

Lastly, the sunflower as heart I enjoy as contrast.

I find myself constantly writing, and often it is just little snippets, fragments (fragmente, in my home language, Afrikaans. It is one of my favorite words. Check out Chris Chameleon's song 'Fragment')

I have also started some cheap, cheap art with collage work, where I hardly spend more than two hours on a piece. The visual fragments and phrases have married quite well.
