When there is life, they say, there is hope
That is a reason to strive
Strive to be better than you were yesterday
Strive so your children would thrive
Working hard on a daily basis
To better your life and that of your dependants
To survive and have a better spot in life
In order not to present your children thorns but daisies
You struggle to show the world how great you can be
No matter the pains, you set your eyes on the gain
Pressing on in hope of better days
No set time, but still there is hope
The set time has come for you to thrive
A laughter is plastered on your face
You are filled with joy and smiles
Suffering but smiling because there is hope
