To tasting the delirium in your eyes.
The vortex of colours around you
Swirling in unfathomable ways.
My grip on this reality has slipped
And I'm not quite sure who I am anymore.
Memories buried under the sands of time,
Time lost but it was never here anyways...
This is as close as I can get,
Hallucinating a dream in waking reality.
Reaching for an empty cup,
Always wanting more.
