Strum
A lazy zephyr blew on slow and steady
A dank brig rolled on the waves and eddies
A red morning sun jumped out of the horizon
As the brig sailed on to meet the crimson sun
A song on the lips
Rum and some pips
A gale to come today
A tune trums away
Wet and cold spirit of the sea calls, insists
A silent brush stroke of magical artists
As a blue dark sky whispers Clair De lune
The red ink spills into scattered cloud cocoon
A jettison flips
Barrel bow snips
A shanty with a pray
A tune strums away
The seas keep caressing a sound like a snore
Rocking the wooden brig till it squeaks a score
The swabs and powder monkeys all dream
Of glory o'er the week as the fair moon gleam
Cover few kips
Salty ship slips
Sleeping in the gray
A tune strums away
Oh! Come to the place where the sky meets sea
Travel away and onwards, a world new to see
What may happen tomorrow no one knows
But smile and hope an amazing adventure grows
A shark dips
A swab skips
A dawn of a new day
The tune strums away
