Sleep

How many times have I skipped my dinner,
How many times have I tried pulling the trigger,
How many times have my viens but cut,
How many times have I let my blood run on the floor,
How many times have I tied the rope,
How many times have I actually tried to die?

All those times,
My feelings did not sound.
All of those times,
No one noticed I drowned.
Somehow all of those times,
One by one they toned down.
Though all of the times,
No one was around.
But slowly and softly,
You then came around.
And only to your voice,
I could sleep
Safe
And
Sound
