Will be what's right
when there's nothing left.
The wrong we couldn't right
When offence met pride
Will be all that's left
When we our obituary they write.
Words unspoken
Love unrequited
Hatred carried over
Offences unforgiven
These and more
Shall stand to mock
Our bloated morals
Our leavened ego.
The things we left behind...
Go now, while you can
Make amends before time snaps
For there'll be nothing left to hide
