CHRONICLES OF THE PAIN

Better late than never
Better to go through the hurt
than live with it forever
Take a munch in it
now that it hasn't gotten all bitter.
Never lay to wait,
never say later
cause this pain;
this hurt will never get better.

Try all you can
It's never gonna go
It's there;
just like the skin
It is forever attached to you.
You grow
and it grows
You get bigger
And it gets bigger.
You change
But it doesn't
Cause it is immune to change.

It's troubles surfaces,
At the least expected time,
It suppresses,
Drowning you in the ocean of regrets,
With a milestone of worries.
Tied to your foot;
The foot of believe and hope.
It gags your sanity,
snuffing out the breath of hope.
It lays waste to your integrity,
setting you way below mediocrity.
