Dont Ridicule What Riddles You

in #poetry7 years ago

Many at times we tend to judge what we don't understand. Here's a poem I wrote about that. Being judged by people who don't understand you

SOURCE

Our world is ineffable and inscrutable,
Our words, esoteric and rarefied,
Confounding these aliens, unfathomable,
Yet we are in our jargons dignified,
By their judgement, we're unperturbable,
For their mockery has signified
Just how much they are unable
To our world understand.

But why do they judge and mock
When they are the ignoramuses,
Scatterbrains with skulls thick as rock.
Moved by inclinations and impulses
To fight they can't fathom and deem it strange,
Yet all the had to do was try to learn and engage.

Sort:

They judge because they only heard the Story. They never try to live it,they never try to walk a mile in those shoes, they never walk that same path. They judge because they don't understand and they never will.

They should stop judging
They not only hear but listen

Newly thinking.. that's great

I feel the fire, buddy. Judging by your age and society, you are way above your peers. Don't ever stop writing. Cheers!

Damn!! This is really good!!
