Nonsensical Mind
thoughts restrained her
they controlled and defined her
constant.
the spiral staircase took her back again
regardless
she will keep returning to the same spot.
that grim hallway of sorrow where
the overhead glare
becomes her only flare
on repeat.
upon ascension
promises were exchanged for deathless darkness.
silence imitated her
an unchanging white noise that never gave up
never calmed
her head swam with echoes
a chorus of birds that sang
in pursuit of truce
no use.
This originally was meant to be the result of myself messing around with Photoshop today , trying to learn different techniques. It turned into something more...poetry inspiration 💜 The message I am trying to convey here is that if you abandon all hope in facing your inner demons- they will haunt you into old age- Serenity is there, inside of us-listen out for that chirp, even when it's tone is that of a distant hum 🐦

Everyone likes accents! :) It's a change from the usual!
I've done some amateur recording, I think that using a phone will be a good way to get you started... Best to record in a small area (closet with fluffy clothing or a vehicle parked in a quiet place have worked for me).
It's always best to do a test audio as well before putting effort into a voice over...
Soundcloud stores audio for a $6? monthly charge (unlimited?) but I think there are some free options as well.

I think this one is my favorite so far. It describes myself at times -- very relatable... Audio is a great idea btw!
