Lie peacefully amongst the silent lilies
But with you, life would have made more meaning
Don't realise you already bargained with death
For your freedom from life's tyranny and oppress-ion.
Gone just in a short while
When you finally gave up your fight
To go a place where all has meaning
Eternal place of rest, deathly misgiving.
Gone but just too soon,
A bucket full of tears, wished I foresaw the doom
It doesn't matter anymore, cos'
Where you went, is a place of no return.
Teardrops, when I think of the legacy you left behind
When I remember fulfilment of destiny denied
It almost doesn't count for all is vanity
But yet, it was all that makes life an irony.
Teardrops of sadness, teardrops of sorrow
Making life seem like it has no tomorrow
A bleak future looms ahead of time
A dirge, a song lingers on my lips for the umpteenth time.
You're gone, I don't have choice than to let go
Wherever you are pal, just know
That you will be in our heart always
Till the sun doesn't shine and the rain doesn't fall
Till all is lost phase by phase.
