BENEATH STILL WATERS

Hello guys, i know have not been totally forthcoming for a while now seeing that i only post once in a while. I know the expectation of steemit is t o make me a better version of my self and help build the underutilized talent in me, but i definitely know that i can do better because there are many steemians out there ready to help.

I really really appreciate the person that introduced me to this platform @deeclown because he never stopped believing in me and his words are always encouraging, i thank @nicknightshade because he is one of those few with which their comments encourages me to keep painting my imaginations and breathing it to life with my ink.

Nevertheless, i thank the whole steemit platform at large, @steemitboard, @originalworks, @kanasite, @swissclive, @crystalize, @dmskihomestead, mathewdavid, arnoldmusa90, @arvindkumar, @gogogadgetupvote, @akarantain, @ausbitbank, @cqf, @oba009, @lullettematz, @franklinolas and so many others for their comments and supports, i say thanks to you all.

Today, i have another poem to share with the whole steemit community, i really hope you all would love it.

BENEATH STILL WATERS

Trying as much not to drown in this fantasy of mine,

If wishes were horses, beggars might ride.

Hoping that the currents will someday turn the tides,

And that fate will one day change sides.

Life is like a dream,

All day merry-go-round, finally at a standstill.

Toiling hard yet no progress,

A serious issue to be addressed.

The storm of life doth come and go,

To either be driven or stay still is ours to know,

Opportunities now at stone throw,

No matter the circumstances, never lose hope.

Now is the time to re-write history,

Behind every glory is a story,

Beneath the still waters,

Lies a new being greater than the former
