The Nomad and the Messenger
He sits alone in exile
This lonely soul unheard
So many times a wish to speak
But utters not a word
A vagabond in wandering
So few to apprehend
He sits alone in silent muse
Till timing does commend
Great understandings many
And lacks of knowledge few
His knowledge bubbles over
Upon the open spew
His knowledge ever helpful
Understanding at his side
In time and fitly spoken
His knowledge never hides
The nomad and the messenger
One and both the same
One has words much heeded
The other scorned to shame
But the beggar in the streets
Spat upon despised
Might be a king in palace great
And greatly magnified
