BEATEN [DAY 59]
BEATEN
ORIGINAL POETRY BY
I walk alone in the broken street
With barkings and growlings
I go alone through the empty days
Without any care nor feelings*
Sometimes I wish my farewell could find me
And tell me I'm leaving;
But I stand alone, I cry alone
And I'm alone in life without meaning
I march across the line
With dark countenances upon mine;
Then this worthless question
Starts bothering my strengthless mind
Would they wonder what it's like
To be the only darkness among them lights?
So I guess they'll never know
And everything will remain behind the rights
I never wanted to spin the yarn and tell a stupid rigmarole
All I ever longed for was a tiny space in their hearts and soul
I don't want to go on as a discrete night wanderer
Who is yet to be forgotten
I only want a smile from the world
Some love from home and one piece of your heaven
And so the story gets told
By myself, the very much beaten
