Poetry 365 | Day 76 | Sonnet 18
Aries the ram starts off the wheel of now,
Then Taurus the bull takes in the sun's light–
From there, Gemini the twins teach us how
Cancer the crab will develop eyesight:
The long mane of Leo carries Sun rays–
Down to Virgo's crop, blessing it with growth:
Under which Libra can balance its days,
Scorpio goes to the extremes of both;
Sagittarius shoots forth on its sails–
Into Capricorn's goaty dominion,
Aquarius joins the song of the whales,
Pisces tries not to have an opinion:
Ophiuchus will join the chorus to sing,
Bringing us into the Aeon's next spring.
