my two dads
were in different worlds
the close one was a stranger
but it didn't take long
for me to understand him
i saw a lot as a kid
even now as an adult
i think my child's
eyes hit the bullseye
he was his own master
he used to be a pastor
he lied and had secrets
eventually
his secrets became my secrets
