It does not look like you have used the "introduceyourself" tag yet, and you get one time to use it. Do a post about YOU. Include your activism of course, but make sure you verify yourself to this community (a steemit logo with the date in a picture is a common way to do it) and make yourself a real human in the post. You don't have to tell anything you do not want to, but do tell what you are willing to share.
Activism here is a little different. We are working with a pretty awake crowd here, and most of us a little battle weary. We don't need the truth beat into us any more... lol! Find your creative outlets, post that side of you and you will pick up followers from outside the "activist" circle. For instance, you could enter this same challenge with a nice poem about cannabis and a lovely photo of some nugs. It would gain you followers from the poetry group, from the contest group and from pro-weed folks. If I were you, I would join the discord groups for steemsilvergold and PAL (Peace, Abundance, Liberty) to start getting some followers. Hang in there, keep posting - consistency is key. Comment, comment, comment - you actually earn more for an upvote on your comments than you do on upvotes on posts. You post payout gets split with the other "authors" - the people who comment on your post. The upvote I gave your comment here all goes straight to you at payout.
