Is the glass
Half empty
Or half full?
A question of perspective
Or a statement
Quite objective?

Emptiness
The drive of the world
The initiator of change
The creator of gradients.

Without being empty
Nothing gets full
Without emptying
Of one's self
Of emotions
Of passions
Nothing gets done.

Emptiness
A beauty in disguise
A pain
Seen in the eyes
Be you a feeling
Be you a drive
Fill me within
As I struggle
To survive.
