Hi Steemitian friends, Today I want to present you one of the contemporary Iranian poets.
Sohrab Sepehri (October 7, 1928 – April 21, 1980) was a poet , writer and painter from Iran. He is one of the most important contemporary Iranian poets and his poems are translated into many languages, including English , French , Spanish and Italian .

ُTHE WATER’S FOOTSTEPS:

Where I am, let it be so
The sky is mine
The window, thought, air, love, earth is mine
What signifies?
If mushrooms of nostalgia
Sometimes grow?

Thank you for this helpful article. I just wanted to point out that the birth and death dates are incorrect. You can correct them as follows (based on Wikipedia):
(October 7, 1928 – April 21, 1980)
or
(Mordad 15, 1307 AP – Ordibehesht 1, 1359 AP)
